DIGITAL ACCESS CONTROL (DAC)

1. On the back of the operator, find the button marked “SC” and
press it one time. The light on the front of the motor will flash
once.
2. At the keypad, press the “ENTER” button, then your new fourdigit pin number, then press “ENTER”, “ENTER”. The light on
the front of the motor will flash twice.
3. Wait approximately 45 seconds and the light on the motor will
come on for about 15 seconds and go off. Your new code will
now work each time you enter it.
If the old keypad continues to work,
the customer must fill up all the available channels with TX codes.
1. Press the “SC” button, then press “ENTER”, put in your new
four-digit pin number, then press “ENTER”, “ENTER”.
2. Press the “SC” button twice, and the “TX” button once.
3. Next press the “SC” button three times, and the “TX” button
once.
4. Next press the “SC” button four times, and the “TX” button
once.
5. Finally press the “SC” button five times, and the “TX” button
once.
6. At this point, the DAC and the TX should be the only things
that work

To Change Pin # Without Resetting Keypad:

1. Open cover fully

2. Enter OLD pin number and press “#” – red light will blink slowly.

3. Enter the NEW pin number and press “#” – red light will blink faster.

4. Press “*” – red light will turn off.

5. Close keypad cover.

6. Close keypad cover fully.

6. Slide keypad cover open fully and enter pin number and press “*” to test with your new
code number.

NOTE: On a 456 Operator, press the far right button in the cut-out area to program a new
transmitter. THIS IS FOR “O-SERIES” TRANSMITTERS ONLY.
